Whether you are looking for a serious read or just a chance to get away from it all for a little while, we believe we can meet those needs here at the Lincolnton Bookstop. From Art and Travel to Classics and Plays, you can travel the world with the likes of Plato, Shakespear, and Picasso.
However, if you're looking for something a little lighter, transport yourself to lands of fantasy and adventure in the tales of Shannara by Terry Brooks or into the dark elven undersworld brought to life by R.A. Salvatore. We also have to mention all of the worlds of vampires and werewolves brought to life by Stephanie Meyer and JR Ward.
Whatever your taste, we will do our best to stock it for you or make our best attempt to find it for you. We also have a Special Order process for those hard-to-find items if you need help with them.
Trade-in Policy
Don't want to let you get away without telling you about our trade-in policy here at the Lincolnton Bookstop.
Using a computerized inventory system designed specifically for the used book business, we are now able to track all of our books quickly and accurately when you trade them in. We even track our customers' available credit so they can always get a current report on the amount of credit they have with us. This saves you and us time tracking your trade in credit that you can use towards the purchase of books in the store.
If you have a special request, we can look it up and tell you in moments if we have it in stock or not. If you have books to trade in on that request, we will allow you 25% value of the original book price for paperbacks and 25% value of the price we anticiate selling the book for on hard cover books. Basically still a 2-for-1 trade although we do request half of the purchased book's price in case due to overhead costs.
